AS most of you know, the upgrade proces with Nutanix is almost one-click. It is very easy to start, but you have to wait quite some time to see it finished. Every now and then the wait takes too long, and you get a little impatient.

I had that today, so I decided to check the AHV upgrade via the host’s IPMI interface. A pleasant surprise awaited me. Instead of a meaningless phoenix prompt, I had a screen that actually showed the progress of the update.

I don’t know when this was introduced, but I think this is really helpful. For your information, I upgraded to version 10.3.0.2.
