Nutanix just released a new LCM framework. Version 3.3 is now GA.
According to the release notes of this version, there is new inventory support for HPE Gen 12 servers. Also the dark site upgrade advisor (DUO) is named in the release notes. According to this documentation, AOS 7.5 and PC 7.5 are needed for DUO. So, if you need this feature, you have to update that as well. AOS 7.5 is released today. PC 7.5 and AHV 11 are not yet available on the portal.
If your cluster is connected to the portal, you cannot miss a new version of the LCM Framework. It is on the screen. With a new inventory, the framework is updated automatically.

The version of the Framework has to be the same on PE as well as PC. Otherwise, LCM is not willing to perform upgrades. So when you update the framework on PE, an inventory is automatically started on PC. LCM on the Prism Central instance will be restarted when the new framework is installed.

On the Operations tab of the inventory task, you also see that the upgrade of the LCM framework is part of the inventory job.
